The LAU mobile clinic headed to the COVID-19 Crisis Cell of Tripoli Municipality and  the Northern government on Thursday April 9th and was led by Dr. Georges Ghanem, the Chief Medical Officer at the LAU Medical Center-Rizk Hospital, Dr. Jacques Mokhbat, Professor & Chair of the Department of Internal Medicine at the LAU School of Medicine and Head of Infectious Disease and Microbiology at LAU Medical Center – Rizk Hospital, the technician lab and nurses team as well as Mr. Saad el Zein the LAU president’s advisor.

The LAU Mobile Clinic then took its trip further and went to the Centre Hospitalier Du Nord in Zgharta.

This National Campaign that was launched on Saturday April 4th at the Nabatieh Government Hospital and that have provided medical assistance and free PCR tests for residents of the visited region, proves itself to be crucial and imperative amidst the challenging times the country is going through as it is assuring a much needed moral and medical support to the lives of the Lebanese people, threatened by the vicious virus.

This noble initiative is faithful to the LAU Medical Center – Rizk Hospital’s brand promise of “Healing with Compassion” and its mission to provide medical care and support to the Lebanese people will hopefully keep on extending its reach to cater for the medical needs of more rural regions of Lebanon.
