Thirteen Purebred Arabian stallions who have all won Group PA races are standing at the Grand Courgeon Stud in 2021. This season’s newcomers are dual Group 1 PA victor Yazeed by Munjiz out of Al Dahma, Dahor de Brugere, by Dahess out of Dormadora, best 3-year-old of the year 2012 and who got his first Group 1 PA winner at the end of the 2020 season, as well as TM Thunder Struck by Majd Al Arab out of Bonnet, a winner of a Group 1 PA in Qatar, who is standing for the first time in France.
Three English Thoroughbred stallions are also standing at the Grand Courgeon Stud. Offspring of Joshua Tree by Montjeu out of Madeira Mist has been successful on the flat as well as over the jumps, which is also the case of Style Vendome by Anabaa out of Place Vendome, who has sired Black Type performers in both disciplines. As to Group 1 winner Mekhtaal by Sea The Stars out of Aiglonne, this will be his third season at stud.
