Starting today, MAY 30th and until June 30th 2020, Air France Beirut officially partners with Tammana to provide support for its mission to grant the wishes of children suffering from life-threatening illnesses. Through its partnership with Tamanna, Air France will assist in Tamanna’s mission to bringing life-changing experiences to children, families and communities in the country. Air France commits to donate $1 for each ticket to Paris purchased in Lebanon, to a fund to fly.
Since 2005, Tamanna has been committed to Turning wishes into reality, empowering children to fight back, giving them hope, strength and happiness in times of great stress and hardship. With over 1900 wishes granted to date, Tamanna covers all hospitals in Lebanon. Any child between 3 and 18 years of age with a critical medical condition, residing or being treated in Lebanon is eligible for a wish. Wishes are served without regards to nationality, race, religion or socio-economic background. There are four categories of wishes:
I wish to have
I wish to be/do
I wish to meet
I wish to go
‘I wish to go’ is one of the most popular wish categories that Tamanna fulfills. All over the country, children with critical illnesses ask their wish granters to go somewhere special to make beautiful memories with their loved ones. Together, we will give our little heroes a chance to be children again and the opportunity to spend quality time with their families when time is so precious.
