Under the patronage of The Minister of Environment, H.E. Fady Jreissati, LibanPost proudly took part in the Lebanon Waste Management Exhibition & Conference 2019, with the aim of further highlighting the importance of waste management solutions.
During the conference, which took place at Hilton Beirut Metropolitan Palace from the 9th till the 11th of April, LibanPost launched a series of 3 stamps related to the main categories of sorting. In association to the color of the bins, the green stamp was created for organic waste, the red for recyclable material, and the grey for non-recyclables.
The stamps were designed in a way to be informative, indicating the various types of waste that fit into each category. Furthermore, LibanPost had a booth in the exhibition area whereby they distributed flyers with key tips on sorting and recycling.
During his speech, H.E. Fady Jreissati officially launched the stamps, stating: “The Ministry has launched a campaign related to sorting from the source targeted at homes, schools, offices and on a larger scale municipalities. I would like to thank LibanPost for being part of this national campaign by launching a series of stamps dedicated to waste management awareness and sorting.
