CH Carolina Herrera celebrated its Insignia family of bags and revealed the latest addition to the family with an exclusive audio-visual cocktail evening held at INKED, Dubai on 30th October.
The bare space was transformed into an experiential setting inspired by the values of the House of Herrera. Attendees at the event, comprised of a crowd of the city’s top media, influencers, and VIPs,
entered to an exploration of 6 interactive set ups representing physical embodiments of the brand’s key attributes – heritage, boldness, refinement, cosmopolitan, lifestyle, and Allegria De Vivir. A different bag from the brand’s iconic Insignia Collection was incorporated into each set up in a unique way, allowing guests to view the latest pieces which are handcrafted in the brand’s own Spanish leather Atelier.
Throughout the night, fashion elite mingled and danced to upbeat tracks DJ’d by James Locksmith before pausing for the screening of the brand’s Insignia campaign video which features a diverse group of influencers from the region – Nour Arida, Ascia Al Faraj, Dana Malhas, Natalia Shustova, Jana Bassam, and Leena Al Ghouti. Similar to the event inspiration, each woman featured in the campaign was chosen to represent a one of six values associated with the brand – bringing to the table a genuinely unique mix of profiles that come together as a personification of the true CH woman. The video serves as an interpretation of the brand’s new direction which appeals to the new generation of millennials while still maintaining a timeless sense of sophistication.
Following the video screening, Dubai based singer and pianist Aleksandra Krstic took to the centre of the room to offer her own live rendition of Ella Fitzgerald’s “Dream a little Dream,” featuring New York based influencers Natalie Lim Suarez and Dylana Lim Suarez. Meanwhile, the brand’s latest addition to the Insignia Collection – The Ella Insignia bag was revealed for the first time in the region. The unique piece, inspired by the late jazz songstress, was specially crafted for the reveal in gold and black Agatha stone and crocodile leather.
The Insignia project was born to celebrate the 35th Anniversary of the House of Herrera.
Taking the iconic CH logo as a starting point, a new signature monogram was created; a symbol full of meaning present in all collections offering added value. The event was inspired from this concept, placing an emphasis on identity.
Insignia celebrates diversity as well as authenticity and incorporates the unique essence of the House of Herrera.
