This autumn, Lancôme is launching a new collaboration: La vie est belle Happiness Limited Edition… Lancôme has unveiled an edgy collector’s edition designed
in collaboration with a world-renowned street artist: Lady Pink, a living legend of New York street art and also a strong, socially committed woman.
Lady Pink, a free artist
Sandra Fabara, alias Lady Pink, was born in Ecuador and grew up in New York. There, from the late 1970s, she made a name for herself as the “First Lady of Graffiti”.
The name “La vie est belle” has been made into a statement, chanted, repeated, written by Lady Pink in the graphic, urban lettering which has always peppered her work.
And so the bottle is adorned with graffiti in a fuchsia pink shade, which is echoed for the first time in the bow tied around the neck, symbolising the wings of freedom.
